The Jersey City Pedestrian Enhancement Plan study began in July 2017 and is expected to conclude in June 2018. There will be public engagement activities and walkability workshops held throughout the city during the summer and fall. A draft of the plan will be presented at a public meeting in the spring of 2018. The final plan will be made public once it is completed. It will serve as a guide to help make a location in each of the City's six wards a safer, more pleasant place to walk.
